Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.
Service Projects include:
- Adopt-A-Mile
- Cookies with Santa
- Tools for Schools (School supplies for local children)
- Toiletries for the Safe Place and the Marshall County Coalition Against Domestic Violence
- Car Seats for the Department of Human Resources
- Donate money at Christmas to a local pharmacy (which matches our donation) to pay for an elderly person's medication
- Picnic in the park for the local Special Olympics participants
- Picnic in the park for the graduating High School Seniors
- City Park Walking Trail plot
- PROUD sponsors of Arab High School Junior Civitan Club, Arab Junior High Junior Civitan Club,and the Brindlee Mountain High School Junior Civitan Club.
- Assisting Brindlee Mountain High School with a pavilion for the Learning Center students
These are examples of some of the service projects that the club does.
The Arab Civitan Club also supports many worthwhile organizations via financial donations. A few of these include:
- Children's Hospital
- ARC of Marshall County
- Christian Women's Job Corp
- Marshall County Hospice
